Helping Today. Helping Tommorow
Rooted in the core values of compassion, dignity, service, responsibility, and community empowerment, the Mzee Geoffrey Memorial Foundation was born out of a desire to preserve a father’s legacy. We believe that sustainable change happens when local communities are equipped with the tools, education, and support they need to break cycles of poverty.
By connecting the generosity and expertise of the Canadian landscape with the vibrant potential of Kenyan communities, we implement targeted programs that create measurable, long-term impact.

The Mzee Geoffrey Memorial Foundation is a charitable and humanitarian organization established in loving memory of the late Mzee Geoffrey. Founded by his daughter, Lucy Jeffrey (legally known in Kenya as Lucy Mwendwa Muuru)—a Kenyan-Canadian entrepreneur, philanthropist, and community leader—the foundation transforms personal loss into a beacon of hope for others.
We serve as a vital bridge between Kenya and Canada. By uniting donors, volunteers, professionals, businesses, and well-wishers from both nations, we mobilize financial support, global expertise, and sustainable partnerships to uplift disadvantaged individuals and families.
Where We Work: To honor Mzee Geoffrey’s roots, our initiatives will initially focus on his home village of Ntugi Village, Meru County, before expanding to other regions across Kenya based on community needs and strategic partnerships.

What People Think
"In Ntugi Village, many of our young people have talent but lack direction or resources. The Mzee Geoffrey Memorial Foundation’s focus on vocational training and digital literacy is exactly what we need to give our youth a fighting chance at economic independence. It’s a beautiful way to honor Mzee's legacy."
